The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

The Dark Knight Rises is an upcoming superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan and the story with David S. Goyer. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film will be the third installment in Nolan's Batman film series, and is a sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). The Dark Knight Rises is intended to be the conclusion of the series. It stars Christian Bale,Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman. The film will take place eight years after the events of The Dark Knight and will introduce the characters of Selina Kyle and Bane—portrayed by Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy, respectively—two villains from the Batman mythology.

Wrath of the Titans

Wrath of the Titans is an upcoming 2012 fantasy film and sequel to the 2010 film, Clash of the Titans. The film stars Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes,Liam Neeson, Danny Huston, Édgar Ramírez, Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell and Rosamund Pike with Jonathan Liebesman directing a screenplay by Dan Mazeau & David Leslie Johnson. The film is scheduled for a March 30, 2012 release in 3D and IMAX 3D.

Underworld 4 "Awakening "

A fourth film, shot in 3-D, is set to be directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein with a release date of January 20, 2012. Kate Beckinsale has officially signed on to reprise her role as Selene and screenwriter John Hlavin has stated that the movie will not be alike like any of the previous movies. Production on the film is set to start in March 2011 in Vancouver with Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, and Len Wiseman producing On April 4, 2011, it was reported that the film is tentatively titled Underworld: Awakening and the following plot synopsis was given:

"Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species."

Piranha 3DD

Piranha 3DD (alternatively known as Piranha 3D: The Sequel) is an upcoming 2012 3D horror-comedy film and sequel to the 2010 film Piranha 3D. It is directed by John Gulager from a screenplay by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. It stars Ving Rhames, Paul Scheer, and Christopher Lloyd, who reprise their roles from the first film. Production began on April 27, 2011 with a release scheduled for November 23, 2011, but a month prior to release this date was revised to an unspecified 2012 date.

Ice Age 4: The Continental Drift

Fox is releasing a short film to promote Ice Age 4 Continental Drift. The short film, titled Scrat's Continental Crack-Up, focuses on the squirrel Scrat and reveals that he started the whole continental drift thing.

Men In Black 3

 

Men in Black III (stylized MIB³ and formerly known as Men in Black III-D) is an upcoming 3D science fiction comedy film starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. It will be released as the sequel to Men in Black II on May 25, 2012, ten years after its predecessor,^[2] and will also star Josh Brolin and Jemaine Clement, with Barry Sonnenfeld returning as director, and Steven Spielberg returning as executive producer. The film is the third entry in the Men in Black film series which is based on the Malibu comic book series The Men in Black by Lowell Cunningham. Principal photography began in New York City on November 16, 2010.
